Tour Summary

Travel on the Alaska Railroad to Whittier, located at the entrance of Prince William Sound. Upon arrival you walk over to the office of Phillips Cruises and join the 26 Glacier Cruise. The 26 Glacier Cruise travels 140 miles into Prince William Sound where you will see 26 “named” glaciers and many more unnamed. You get face to face with these towering masses of ice, so close you can “hear” the glaciers move and gaze at their brilliant blue hues. Many different animals call this area home; bald eagles are commonly seen fishing in the area along with an occasional puffin. It is not uncommon to see orcas plus sea otters are almost always present.

Meal Options for the 26 Glacier Cruise (Every guest has a choice from one of the following options):

• Chowder: Wild Alaska smoked salmon chowder
• Chili: Hearty vegetarian chili
  The entrée selected is served with a fresh Julienne vegetable salad, a multi-grain roll (gluten free sides are served with the chili upon request) and butter pat, a fruit cup, oyster crackers, and a polar smooch candy.
• Kids Meal (age 2-11): Features an all beef hotdog, fruit cup and a bag of chips
• If no meal is selected at the time of reservation, the Salmon Chowder will be served.
