Hereafter you can find our updated COVID-19 Cancellation Policy. Please be aware, that these will only go into effect if official government travel bans are in place which impact your travel plans! If this is not the case, our regular cancellation policy applies.
Should official government travel bans not allow you to pick up your vehicle at the confirmed rental location or you would not be allowed to return to your place of residence without having to undergo mandatory quarantine for several days, our special COVID-19 cancellation policy will go into effect.
Please contact your tour operator if you didn’t book with GoNorth directly or contact our Travel Center for Travel Center bookings (e.g. self-drive tours).
Special COVID-19 Cancellation Policy – Text View (english)
This cancellation policy applies to GoNorth rental vehicle bookings for direct clients who have not booked through a tour operator only. The following rules apply starting 3/31/20. Please contact your tour operator if you didn’t book with GoNorth directly or please contact our Travel Center for Travel Center bookings (e.g. self-drive tours).
1. Clients are not allowed to travel to the vehicle pick-up location or from the place of their residence due to official government travel bans lasting up to (less than) one (1) full month prior to vehicle pick-up.
Direct Clients not allowed to travel – non-refundable down payment paid
GoNorth will provide a voucher for the amount of the paid down payment (25%) for future bookings. No additional fee, the full amount of down payment (voucher) will be transferred to the new booking. The new booking will be confirmed with the same rates and conditions as the original booking – no price increase, including Early Bird Discount if applicable. The voucher needs to be redeemed within 12 months from the last confirmed pick-up date for a GoNorth vehicle booking.

The paid amount (voucher) minus the additional fee will be transferred to the new booking. The new booking will be confirmed with the same rates and conditions as the original booking – no price increase, including Early Bird Discount if applicable. The voucher needs to be redeemed within 24 months from the last confirmed pick-up date for a GoNorth vehicle booking.

GoNorth will provide a voucher for the full amount of the payment for future bookings. No additional fee applies. The full amount paid (voucher) will be transferred to the new booking. The new booking will be confirmed with the same rates and conditions as the original booking – no price increase, including Early Bird Discount if applicable. The voucher has no expiration date.

2. Clients are allowed to travel from their place of residence to the destination of the confirmed vehicle pick-up within one (1) full month after official government travel bans have been suspended, but clients decide to not travel – regardless of reason.

Die folgenden Annullierungsbedingungen gelten lediglich für Buchungen von GoNorth Autos und Wohnmobilen für Direktekunden, welche nicht über einen Tour Operator gebucht haben. Die angepassten Bedingungen gelten ab dem 31/03/19 bis auf Weiteres. Bitte kontaktieren Sie Ihren Tour Operator falls Sie nicht direkt bei GoNorth gebucht haben oder kontaktieren Sie unser Travel Center für Buchungen via GoNorth Travel Center (z.B. Mietwagenrundreisen).
1. Kunden ist es nicht gestattet von Wohnort aus oder zur Übernahmestation zu reisen, aufgrund eines offiziellen Reiseverbots der Regierung, welches bis zu einem (1) kompletten Monat (oder weniger) vor der Fahrzeugübernahme gilt.

GoNorth stellt Ihnen einen Voucher für den Betrag der nicht erstattungsfähigen Anzahlung (25%) für zukünftige Buchungen aus. Es fallen keine zusätzlichen Gebühren an. Der volle Betrag der Anzahlung (Voucher) wird einer neuen Buchung gutgeschrieben. Die neue Buchung wird zu den ursprünglichen Raten und Konditionen bestätigt – keine Preiserhöhung, inklusive Frühbucherrabatt falls anwendbar.
