About this poster
Tourism in the Toggenburg region of the canton of St. Gallen started booming in the 1930s. This rare poster which advertised the region as a winter destination in the early years of the decade features a painterly view of the Toggenburg ski resort on the northern flank of the Churfirsten mountain range.
Artist: Hans Looser
Gaphic Designer, opened his advertising agency in Zurich and was partner of the legendary agency Farner in Zurich.
