This vintage poster is an extremely rare example of Emil Cardinaux’s work, made for the former Schuster retail store, which was well known for selling high-quality oriental carpets. This vibrantly coloured scene with its energetic design, which is slightly reminiscent of Ferdinand Hodler’s style, makes a very powerful and effective piece of advertising.
