About this poster
Hans Falk designed this wonderful poster to promote the use of public telephone booths in 1951. It shows both inventiveness and sensitive attention to detail – the woman has taken off one of her gloves to operate the dial and now rests her arm on the telephone books mounted against the wall. We see the “Telephon” sign through the glass from the inside out, so it is back to front. A rare vintage poster perfect for telephone booth nostalgists by a great Swiss painter and poster artist.
