About this poster
In a colour palette reduced nearly to black and white, Fred Stauffer gives us a striking vision of one of Switzerland’s most famous mountains: the Jungfrau. Like an apparition in a dream, the mighty mountain appears before us, with its snowy white glaciers shining in the sun and its black rock faces lying in shadow. A rare original travel poster from 1930 for the Swiss Tourist Board.
