The famous Donald Brun‘s series of Swissair posters are carefully designed lovely posters mostly showing the human beings or themes and the aircrafts in a much reduced shape. This vintage poster shows the stork family in their nest on the church steeple watching towards heaven with lots of respect for new Swissair DC-6B.
Artist: Donald Brun
Donald BRUN was born in 1909 in Basel and died in Clarens in 1999. After his apprenticeship as a publicity illustrator, he attended several art classes in Basel and Berlin. From 1933 he worked as a freelance artist for many important companies in Switzerland. He was a founding member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI).
