Liestal is located southeast of Basel, has cold winters, mild summers and a spectacular public swimming pool, worthy of an equally spectacular Art Deco poster. The diver almost looks like they're elongating when they dive into the inviting water at a perfect 45 degree angle. David Hockney would agree.
