About this poster
These children really have a sweet tooth. This light-hearted advertisement for Stalden dessert was designed by the poster master Viktor Rutz just after Second World War, when plenty of sweet foods once more found their way into Swiss kitchens. A delightful rarity and one of two versions in Artifiche’s collection.

Viktor Rutz was born in 1913 in St. Gallen. He was a self-taught painter and graphic designer. From 1931 to 1950, he created more than 200 posters that gave him international recognition. In his compositions he worked with colourful lighting effects, and his posters for the food industry placed a striking emphasis on the product and its advantages.
