About this poster
In the 1930s the gifted poster designer Alex W. Diggelmann created numerous posters for sport and transport advertising which are among the most impressive in Swiss poster art. This rare, unique stone lithograph from 1939 for the fashionable Engadine tourist resort of Pontresina features Diggelmann's typical clear, figurative style. „Further towards Italy, Pontresina is almost an extension of St. Moritz, only 7 km away. Diggelmann’s jumper in mid-flight soars as high as a bird-flying in style“ Jenny de Gex
