The master of Swiss poster art Emil Cardinaux had a talent for using strong colours to give images a special atmosphere. His advertisements for brands and businesses used narratives to capture and entertain viewers. Cardinaux designed this lovely vintage advertising poster more than a century ago for the clothing store of B. Fehlbaum in Berne. Three girls on their way to school through the snow are about to be hit by snowballs thrown by a naughty little boy. Luckily, they’re wearing their thick, warm winter jackets from Fehlbaum!
