About this poster
This magnificient poster detailed designed like a watercolor painting in 1928 by Emil Cardinaux for the Jungfrau-Bahn shows a group of people or a tiny group of tourist touring on the top of a the big glacier the Jungfrau overlooking the majestic landscape which is laid out in front of them showing a giant Swiss flag. Climbing up the Jungfraujoch in Switzerland's Bernese Alps, the Jungfrau Railway was begun in 1898 and finished in 1912. It reaches 11,330 feet, making it the highest spot in Europe accessible by train. This is the smaller format of the poster in French.
