The successful graphic designer Niklaus Troxler was also the initiator of the Willisau Jazz Festival, for which he created imaginative and expressive posters in his own unique style. Among the best are those of the 1970s and 1980s, like this design from 1979 featuring a book of matches where the matches have been replaced with drumsticks.
