About this poster
The Dam advertising agency in Paris was owned by the brothers Etienne and Leon Damour, who also owned the magazine Vendre. They worked with established designers but also employed studio artists which remained anonymous. Posters designed by their studio were signed "Dam." In creating this design for Peugeot bicycles in classic Art Deco style, the studio clearly drew inspiration from the work of Charles Loupot.
