Roger Pfund
Born in Bern in 1943. Painter, graphic designer and designer. He has been working and living in Geneva since 1971. Graphic design first prize at the competition for the new series of bank notes, national Swiss Bank. Since the beginning of his career, Roger Pfund has been focusing his activities on cultural domains, by creating posters for music, theatre, humanitarian actions and museums. Among others, he is the author of ‘Itineraire pour les Droits de I’Homme’, a book under the patronage of the State of Geneva for the 50th anniversary of Human Rights.

Am Stram Gram, Geneva, interior and sculptural development of the new Children’s Theatre. Scenographies and costumes for various shows. 50th anniversary of the U.N.O. Urban exhibition on Human Rights, United Nations square, forum of Peoples for Peace. Telecom 95, design and set up of the stand, Geneva. Swiss Museum of Transports, Lucerne, railways department, design as well as architectural and museographical set up of the permanent exhibition. Bank notes and money: creation of the reserve series for the national Swiss Bank. Design and creation of the new series of notes for the Bank of France. Competition for the Euro bank notes, Bank of France and European Monetary Institute. Consultant to the national Swiss Bank. Creation of the Laurens Carouge collection for object design.
