Adolf Flückiger

Adolf Flückiger, born in Zurich, was trained at a graphic design studio and by Alfred Willimann at the Zurich School of Arts and Crafts. He worked freelance in Berne from 1944 and taught graphic design in Biel and at the Berne School of Arts and Crafts from 1963 to 1983. Flückiger created a large number and variety of graphic works, including distinctive logos, for clients such as SBB (the Swiss Federal Railways), SRG (the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation) and humanitarian institutions.
