About this poster
A striking and convincing composition, this unique and picturesque stone lithograph designed in 1943 by Edi Hauri. Old wooden skis and sticks from the 1940s in front of the Parsenn funicular give this poster a certain dynamism and uniqueness. The stone lithograph is of perfect quality and a rarity.
Artist: Edi Hauri
Edi Hauri was born in Basel. He studied at the Basel School of Design and at the Academy of Arts in Berlin and travelled to England, France, Mexico and America. He worked as a graphic designer at Frobenius printing company in Basel, had his own studio from 1941 and was a member of the Swiss graphic designer association.
