About this poster
The area of Sainte-Croix and Les Rasses above Yverdon is called the "Balcon du Jura". Visitors feel as if they are on a viewing balcony on the approximately 1100-metre high plain at the southern foot of the Chasseron, with a view across Lake Neuchâtel and the Mittelland to countless peaks from the Säntis to Mont Blanc. The original poster by Edouard Elzingre from 1907 is considered one of the oldest winter sports posters ever.
